TFW Recruit Mission, Day 11

Moderate Intensity Day - Workout 65-85%HRM + Cool-down
Score = 33

I had a very good workout in terms of score. I was finally able to keep my HR under control during the sit thru exercises, so I broke my previous moderate score by 4 points. As for technique, however, it was pretty mediocre. I had to shift back to my knees after 4 rounds of plank pulls and I'm never sure if I am flexible enough to so the sit thru presses as they are supposed to be done. I dropped the number of reps on both sit thru exercises so much that they seemed ridiculously slow, but that was what was required to keep my HR down.

I am thinking of doing another little fast to clean out my system. It seems like I need to back off to just fruit and veggies for 3-5 days about every month or so. I suppose it's better to do it now than closer to moving day.

About Me

I'm Linus, a 46 year-old ex-jock and martial artist who is getting back in shape. I was at 320 pounds at my heaviest, and my goal weight is 220. I was over halfway there until I fell off the wagon. Starting over is a bitch.

I enjoy kettlebells, clubbells, macebell, grip training, short steel bending, MMA, handball, squash, and badminton, but now that I live in a tiny apartment in South Korea, I am using TacFit Warrior. I just barely tolerate running...
